in the goodie bag this time around: an ultra fresh 3 track EP release by our very own future funkateer NEGGHEAD aka Dan Ward: a young man torn between his studio in leeds and the sweet promises of lovely balearic island ibiza, where he spends most of every summer behind the decks of the infamous CAFE MAMBO - or elesewhere on the island

picking up on the vibes of his slamming “blast” EP from earlier (and the prolific remix work he delivered for e.g. NIGHTMARES ON WAX), this is the next crunchy set of soul drenched appetizers for the NEGGHEAD album “scrambled negg”... all 3 tracks co-mixed by E.A.S.E. (N.O.W.) by the way.

the lead track „super skeleton“, with its funked up wah wah sounds and soopagroovy clavinet sprinkles, would be a perfect choice for any high class movie car chase… bringing the streets of leeds way closer to those of san francisco… in a true 21st century funkateer fashion that is.

„baby baby“ is where sweet soul music and even sweeter rhodes vibes meet NEGGHEAD’s butt wigglin’ trademark beats… with additional harmonic wizardry provided by MORCHEEBA keyboardist, much respected solo artist and NEGGHEAD room mate JD73.

last but not least, the truly epic deephouse remix of „gettin’ so“ marks a first for WAX ON records… and is a pretty spiritual party-all-nite-sorta 4-to-the-floor tune which will help to spread the love on all tasteful house nation dancefloors this summer… and beyond. 10 minutes of pure joy… and then some.
