you produce quality music that could fit our vibe or you know of someone who does? let us know. potential tunes must be unreleased and unsigned. only one spot left and volunteers must be quick: the deadline for delivering links to files we can access easily is in fact this saturday, 6pm CET!

for those of you not so familiar with the story behind WAX ON records, we definitely recommend to peep the nice label feature that them nice people over at the infamous “sinning in l.a.” blog came up with the other day.

based on a deep interview with our head honcho george evelyn aka E.A.S.E., that feature basically has it all: musical philosophy, insight a&r runnings, detailed artist listings… as well as a funky lil’ “best of so far” mixtape, crafted by our host with the most.

nice vibes in the air all over the place at RAKINO’s in auckland, new zealand last friday when some of auckland’s finest djs (MORNING STEPPA, GENE RIVERS and DUB PRESENT) gathered to drop only the finest WAX ON records beats… and beyond.

funky times, dope sounds and goodies all over da place… happy days, nice one. thats the way we like it (uh-huh uh-huh). massive thanks from our hearts go out to our favorite “outlandish” radio host (and NZ downbeat dj of the year 2008) MORNING STEPPA (courtesy of extraordinary downtempo station KFM radio) and his crew for making this possible!
